Default Classical music

Do any of you guys listen to classical music? I listen to classical music a lot not just Western but also Indian classical music.

But strictly only instrumentals I should say. I like Bach, Mozart and Beethoven and I think they're excellent in what they did.

I also like Nikhil Banerjee, Ravi Shankar and the great Amjad Ali Khan, Amjad who is probably the most virtuostic sarod (fretless sitar) player in the world.

So what kind of classical music do you like...?

I mainly listen to Austrian composers.
Beethoven, Mozart, Strauss Sr. and Jr., Haydn, Schubert, Brahms, and Schonberg.

No, my 5th grade teacher used to play it during class, and well, I just blocked my eyes.

Classical music is annoying. =P

Block your eyes? Are you synesthetic?

I'm guessing that since your brain can't decipher which senses do what...you probably can't even comprehend how to tie your own shoes, much less the complexities of classical music.

I wouldn't poke fun if I didn't know that you were a crappy spammer who does post exchanges 16 hours a day. See if you can cram one more link in your sig, one more piss-poor site would make it really sexy.

I like Ravi Shankar's stuff- I have to be in the mood but it's pretty cool.

I like Pachelbel and Handel, especially. I can never keep Beethoven, Bach, and Mozart straight in my mind, so I can never really say if I like any of them, lol.

Cool, he's quite ordinary in the sitar/sarod world really... He's an excellent player but there are better musicians as well as better technicians that simply haven't been blessed to be so popular. It's a shame really that someone like Nikhil Banerjee isn't that famous.

Thumbs up

I really like both Classical and Inidan Classical music. I find instrumental to be my main genre of music, it just so peaceful and relaxing.

How old are you? I didn't like it when I was younger, but as I matured I discovered newfound appreciation for the art and beauty of classical. I love it now.
